How does Lakewood contain costs while aiming to provide a well-maintained facility?  

 

The answer is through the skills and willing hearts of volunteers. In fact, almost everything built at Lakewood came by the dedication of Mennonite volunteers who had a vision and passion to provide a camp facility for the enrichment of Christians across the state of Florida and beyond. Lakewood appreciates each volunteer who gives of their time and talent to serve God in this way. We believe that volunteer work at Lakewood should be, and is, a win-win proposition.
