Lakewood Retreat Summer Camp Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is God’s written Word and the final authority for what we believe and how we live.
We believe in one God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died for our sins and rose again, and that only through Him can we have forgiveness and new life.
We believe that everyone needs Jesus, and that salvation is a gift of God’s grace, received through faith in Jesus.
We believe the Holy Spirit is present and active in the lives of believers, guiding them and helping them grow in their faith.
We believe we are called to love God, love others, and live according to His Word.

Our Mission

Through this camp, we seek to provide campers with a clear opportunity to hear and understand the message of Jesus.

Campers will build friendships, enjoy time outdoors, and have lots of fun. Lakewood Retreat Summer Camp is a Christ-centered environment where they can grow in their faith and consider what it means to follow Him.

A discreet system is in place, and we take this matter very seriously. Parents/guardians are required to speak with the cabin’s senior counselor privately after check-in (at the cabin, after unloading luggage) to ensure a clear and private plan is established with the camper.
