2020 SUMMER CAMP COUNSELOR / STAFF APPLICATION COMMITMENT

Dear Summer Camp Counselor and/or Staff Applicant, Thank you for your interest in being a part of Lakewood Retreat Summer Camp! The dates for camp this year are listed below. Please know that staff training is mandatory for ALL staff members. Training will be held in Brooksville, FL at Lakewood Retreat Summer Camp. Community service hours are available for your time spent at camp. Please be aware that the Director Staff Team reserves the right to prayerfully send any camp staff members home anytime at their discretion. If our number of counselors trained exceeds our need according to the number of campers, we will have to send counselors home Sunday night after training concludes. By checking the box below, you understand that this is a solemn commitment to be available and spiritually fit to serve as a counselor for the dates stated below, including training. You give Lakewood Retreat permission to do a background check and to verify your spiritual maturity as they see fit. You are a drug-free, law abiding citizen and do your best to be respected in your community, even at a young age. You will report your medications, if applicable, to the Camp Nurse upon arrival. You agree to bring no more than $50 in cash for emergency purposes. You understand that Lakewood Retreat is not responsible for any lost or stolen money. You attest that all the information on this application is accurate and detailed to the best of your ability.
